Our Engineering Team will be making an impact by:

Would you like to lead the charge in defining the role of QA in our Agile software development process? As a key leader within ServiceSource’s engineering team this role will engage directly with our Cloud & Data Services Product Teams and will be responsible for shaping and driving the execution of our quality assurance strategy & programs.

Opportunities to Make an Impact

The following outlines the impact and contributions that this role will be able to make within the first 12-18 months:

• Assess the current quality approach and process and provide an in-depth gap analysis
• Develop and execute a plan that addresses the key gaps in the quality assurance process
• Create the standard/protocol for all test plans and approaches: specify test cases; ensure that quality plan and executed test coverage is complete


Additional Responsibilities

• Lead by incorporating best-in-breed Agile quality practices in everything we build
• Development of our processes, systems, and best practices to deeply integrate QA methodologies
• Anticipate & address issues & risks in a timely and detailed manner
• Ownership of our test automation strategy
• Partner with engineering and product teams to review and understand functional requirements
• Contribute to Iteration and Release Planning and drive QA activities for Cloud Software projects
• Participate in software requirement and implementation design reviews.
• Build test automation framework
• Partner with the development team to improve Build and Continuous Integration tools.
• Create a supporting suite of automated tests
• Key role in capturing performance data, and drive the analysis and resolution of key quality issues impacting design and production

Technical Skills

• Significant QA experience in the Software industry.
• 5+ years in Cloud Software / SaaS QA with preferably 2+ years in a technical leadership role
• 2+ years in QA as part of an Agile team
• Strong QA process documentation & communication skills
• Automation script programming: at least one major programming/scripting language (Python | JavaScript | Perl | bash)
• Background designing and developing a QA configuration and release process.
• Evaluating product performance
• Software development lifecycle tools (source control | defect tracking systems | release management)
• Quality Assurance management for cloud and web systems, including deployment of front end, database and service changes; ability to manage complex integration testing of web & enterprise software systems
• Modern automated software validation techniques as they apply to automation of web services and systems
